Seeds of Grace builds organic and sustainable gardens in impoverished neighborhoods around the world to feed God's Sheep
Seeds of Grace builds sustainable and organic gardens in impoverished neighborhoods around the world to feed God's Sheep. We began with this vision in Mazatlán Mexico, to feed the children who frequent the feeding center at El Castillo. It has been expanded to building local gardens which supply our local shelters and food banks with fresh fruits and vegetables and we have also begun the process of building a curriculum that will educate children in public and private schools. The partners in the community who contribute to Seeds of Grace range widely in their support from supplying the teams with sustenance and nourishment to providing the materials or funds to do the work. Communities come together at a level not seen in years... all to help kids grow healthy.
"When the Lord laid this mission on my heart, I had no experience doing anything but perhaps growing my own salads or salsas... I didn't know how to run an organization that built mission trips! But I am not easily stymied... And God, in His ever-faithfulness always has provided everything we have needed in order to get where we are today," attests Karole Johnson, Founder of Seeds of Grace. She further states, "When we needed more people, He sent more people. When we needed funds, He blessed the teams with adequate funds. The miracles that He placed up to now are simply a testament to His love for His children, and I personally feel so blessed to be a part of this ministry that He is building."
